Graebert Announces New Plugins For DraftSight at Hanover Fair, the World’s Biggest Industrial Event

April 9, 2014 – Hannover Messe (Hanover Fair) 2014 – Graebert™ GmbH (Berlin) http://www.graebert.com – one of the pioneering companies in high-performance CAD solutions for desktop and mobile devices – today announced at the Hanover Fair the upcoming availability of a range of new plugins for the acclaimed and hugely successful SolidWorks® DraftSight® 2D/3D software. DraftSight was co-developed by Graebert with Dassault® Systemes and Graebert is showcasing some of these new plugins at the world’s biggest industrial fair with 250,000+ attendees as part of the Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks® booth (Hall 007 D28).

Designed to offer a range of new features and customizations to DraftSight, Graebert announced in January at Solidworks World its willingness to collaborate with interested developers to help develop exciting new plugins to extend DraftSight’s functionality, as well as leveraging Graebert’s deep technical understanding of DraftSight and worldwide marketing capabilities to market their plugins.

CAD users are now invited to discover some of the new Graebert plugins for DraftSight at the Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks booth and the Graebert team is available to discuss the new plugin architecture and how to best develop for DraftSight.

Graebert is also showcasing its “Convert to DraftSight” program, created to assist companies in their migration from other CAD Software. Graebert offers services to seamlessly convert legacy AutoCAD® or other CAD files and maximize return on investment by converting their CAD stations to the highly cost-effective and DWG-compatible DraftSight platform. Details on both the Developer initiative and the Convert to DraftSight program may be found at www.graebert.com/draftsight.
