Topcon Positioning Group announces a presentation on how cloud-solutions can make job functions more efficient for companies at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2014.

On Tuesday, March 4, Oscar Cantu, Topcon software solutions manager, will address how streamlining workflows with cloud-based systems can maximize job site efficiencies and reduce costs.

“Smartphones and tablets are quickly replacing clipboards and printed files, and increasingly demanding deadlines are making instant field to office communication more important,” said Cantu.  “In this presentation, attendees will discover how cloud-solutions can improve a company’s bottom-line.”

The event goes from 1-2:30 p.m. in North Hall meeting room N119.

Topcon Positioning Group invites industry professionals to learn how the latest machine control technologies and site management software are increasing productivity for positioning professionals at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2014.

On Thursday, March 6, Topcon’s Tony Vanneman joins Jason Anetsberger from Komatsu America to discuss how implementing technology into job sites can make businesses more competitive and profitable.

“From design to completion, technology has rapidly become an integral part of the daily operation process,” said Vanneman.  “In this session, attendees will learn how companies have seen significant increases in job productivity and cost management by adopting the latest cutting-edge industry technologies.”

The event runs from 3-4 p.m. in North Hall meeting room N115.

Seamlessly connecting design to the field
Topcon Positioning Group announces a presentation on how the integration of design software and data collection hardware is improving efficiency for engineers and field specialists at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2014.

On Friday, March 7, Topcon’s Mark Billingsley joins Stacey Scopano from Autodesk to discuss how new developments are seamlessly connecting design technology to field execution, thereby increasing productivity.

“The once separate areas of construction and building management now work together in an integrated fashion,” said Billingsley. “Whether through BIM mapping or data collection, session attendees will learn how to leverage hardware and software solutions that will ultimately improve their company’s efficiency.”

The speaking engagement runs from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in North Hall meeting room N103.
