The special price for Carlson Civil Suite, which includes Carlson Civil, Carlson Survey, Carlson Hydrology, and Carlson GIS, includes one year of maintenance. Normally a $3954.50 value, the end-of-year pricing for the Carlson Civil Suite is $2895 for a savings of more than $1000. The Carlson Civil Suite 2014 is a comprehensive, yet easy-to-master civil engineering software solution, which provides support for AutoCAD® 2014 and also works on AutoCAD versions 2004 and up. All Carlson 2014 office software comes with IntelliCAD® 7.2 built-in, which offers a CAD platform for no extra expense.
For those who prefer working with AutoCAD, the special price of $2695 for Carlson Survey 2014 with Embedded AutoCAD is not to be missed. Representing a $300 savings, this special comes with the 2013 AutoCAD OEM engine built in. The 2014 version of Carlson Survey Embedded delivers on many customer feature requests such as the ability to lock selected points in the coordinate database to prevent modifications, and to unlock them if needed. Also, many more ways to work with Google Earth have been added with support for text, image and solid entities and added settings for transparency of data.
And, to help introduce Carlson customers to the benefits of some of it newest products, Carlson Software is offering one of its most recent software options, Carlson CADnet, for the reduced price of just $995. This pricing also includes one year of maintenance and represents a savings of more than $750 off the regular price. Carlson CADnet allows users to create CAD from non-CAD documents such as PDFs, raster images, and paper plans. CAD text can also be generated from raster images with CADnet’s built-in Optical Character Recognition (OCR). All new with this release is the ability to import BIM models (doors, windows, walls, roofs, etc.) and bring them into CAD as CAD entities; plus, CADnet includes a routine to export surfaces into BIM.
