Dr. Heinrich Schneider Messtechnik, a leading company in the field of production measurement technology, is presenting its new 2D optical measuring device V-CAD rapid – a reliable tool that is both mobile and compact. “Thanks to the intuition-based user interface of the M3 measuring soft-ware, measurements with V-CAD rapid can be performed with virtually a touch of the finger”, emphasises Uwe J. The comprehensive standard equipment of V-CAD rapid includes a 5-megapixel CCD B/W camera and a 4-step motorised zoom lens providing four different fields of view for spot-on measurement. The device also features a multi-touch panel PC equipped with WIN7, plus a LAN and WLAN net-work port and telecentric LED transmitted (diascopic) light illumination. The standard equipment is completed by a granite / aluminium sandwich design, an LED ring light for incident (episcopic) illumination, and a factory calibration certificate as a quality proof.
