Harrisburg, PA, May 31, 2013: Dawood Engineering, Inc. (Dawood) is pleased to announce that Paul Whipple, CPA, Vice President of Finance and Administration, was the winner in the “Growth Specialist” category of the 2013 CFO of the Year Awards. Mr. Whipple was recognized on May 30 at York College of Pennsylvania during the Awards Ceremony.
In 2012, Dawood celebrated its 20th Anniversary, a milestone that many companies do not reach. As the company started its third decade in business as a civil engineering firm, it achieved record-setting revenue growth, opened a regional office in Ohio (the firm’s seventh location) and expanded greatly in a new industry. That growth is due in large part to the efforts of Paul Whipple, who has been with Dawood since 2008. Paul was instrumental in developing the strategic direction of Dawood to be prepared for this record-setting growth, and participated actively in securing new clients to bring that strategy to fruition.
