Merrick Announces Program Management Contract with City of Centennial for Arapahoe Road Improvements

Colorado – May 9, 2013 – Merrick & Company (www.merrick.com) was recently selected for a contract to provide program management for improvements to a one and a half-mile portion of Arapahoe Road, between Waco Street and Himalaya Street, east of the Parker/Arapahoe interchange. The roadway is located in the eastern reaches of the City of Centennial with a goal of improving the last remaining section of Arapahoe Road between Parker Road and E-470. The project will include close coordination with the City of Centennial, Felsburg Holt and Ullevig (City’s selected design consultant), IREA, and local and adjacent land owners. Merrick anticipates the project will complete final design late 2013.

Additionally, Merrick was chosen by the City of Greeley to provide on-call engineering services in the water/wastewater, drainage and roadway markets for the City. Other current and ongoing civil infrastructure projects for Merrick includes work along the Front Range including West Chatfield Avenue (W. Ken Caryl Avenue to S. Garrison Street), West Quincy Avenue (S. Kipling Street to South Simms Street) and East 56th Avenue (Pena Boulevard to Tower Road).
