Las Vegas, Feb. 7, 2013—Nikon-Trimble Co., Ltd. introduced today the Nikon NPL-322 Series of mechanical total stations that includes instruments with 2” and 5” angular accuracy. The 2” accuracy model offers dual-displays for highly productive angle measurement. Both NPL-322 total station models feature a reflectorless EDM with 200 meter (656 feet) range.
The announcement was made today at World of Concrete 2013, the industry’s annual international event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries.
"The new NPL-322 total stations are the latest additions to the Nikon surveying portfolio and provide the dependability and reliability that survey and construction customers worldwide have come to expect from Nikon," said Francois Erceau, general manager of the Nikon and Spectra Precision survey brands. "The NPL-322 Series adds reflectorless measurement capabilities to the field-proven Nikon DTM-322 product line and further expands our comprehensive range of mechanical total stations."
The Nikon NPL-322 total stations are economical, versatile and easy-to-use. Nikon’s legendary optics effectively capture more light to give brighter, clearer images even in low-visibility conditions. For convenience, the Nikon NPL-322 total stations include two rechargeable long life Li-ion batteries to support even the longest of working days. The Nikon NPL-322 total stations are rugged, reliable, and with reflectorless capabilities, users can increase productivity and efficiency for survey and construction applications.
The full range of Nikon mechanical total stations continues to provide surveyors with valuable positioning tools to conduct topographic data collection, stakeout or layout jobs, cadastral boundary surveys and more.
The new Nikon NPL-322 total stations are available now through the Spectra Precision Distribution Channel.
