GEO-13 Exhibition Becomes GEO-North and GEO-South

In order to address visitor demands and exhibitor expectations, the popular annual event will now be held on the 07 March 2013 at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton as well as from the 01-02 May at the Holiday Inn, London Elstree.

While offering greater geographical diversity, GEO-North and GEO-South will continue to offer the complete exhibition experience that has made these events so popular in the past. Both events are completely free to attend and visitor benefits include free parking, refreshments including lunch and access to the onsite programme of informative, inspirational and stimulating seminars and debates. Online registration is already open at http://www.pvpubs.com/Events/Registration

Having sold out in 2012, the GEO-North and GEO-South events have already secured support from some of the best known names from the world of geomatics and GIS innovation including the Association for Geographic Information (AGI), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the British Cartographic Society and the British Geological Survey. Commercial supporters include GEO-North Platinum Sponsors Topcon Distributor Phoenix Survey and Safety Equipment and Leica GeoSystems Distributor and Service Partner M&P Survey Equipment. Other organisations already signed up to these events include 3D Laser Mapping, GeoPlace, Carlson Software, C.SCOPE, Ohmex, Handheld and Spectra Precision dealers South Survey and Mobile GIS Services. Exhibition packages at both events offer excellent value for money with prices starting from as little as £295.

“While GEO-12 was a huge success; selling out weeks before the event and with visitor registrations up 20 per cent on the previous year, feedback from both delegates and exhibitors has resulted in two events for 2013,” commented Stephen Booth of PV Publications, organisers of the event and publishers of Geomatics World, GIS Professional, Engineering Surveying Showcase and the newly launched Internet portal www.Location-Source.com. “By offering a geographically diverse choice of venue we hope to address many travel and budget concerns and attract even more high class visitors and exhibitors.”

The GEO events are designed for everyone involved in the capture and application of geospatial information for construction, civil engineering, development, local / national government agencies, professional survey practice and consultancy. Attracting exhibitors demonstrating the latest technology and developments in the fields of Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Satellite Positioning and Navigation systems (GNSS), laser scanning, data modelling and analysis and mapping together with leading trade organisations and academic institutions, the GEO events are a ‘must attend’.
