Kevin Honomichl, P.E., President and Co-Founder of BHC RHODES Named ACEC National PAC Chair for Kansas

Honomichl’s role will help ACEC represent engineering concerns in Washington D.C.

Kevin Honomichl, P.E. has accepted the role of National PAC Chair for Kansas with the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC). PAC is a Political Action Committee which allows ACEC members the opportunity to support and keep federal candidates in office, who support a pro-business and pro-infrastructure legislative agenda. Each state is represented by a PAC Champion to help meet its state’s annual PAC goal and Honomichl is representing Kansas for a one year term.

Honomichl’s current focus is to raise $16,000+ in Kansas for the national PAC. Funds raised from each state will support National PAC’s engagement with federal officials on infrastructure, design-build, regulatory, and procurement issues. National PAC is also helping the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure recruit and train credentialed users for its new Envision rating system.

Honomichl’s involvement with ACEC spans more than a decade, starting in 2000 when he was appointed to the ACEC state board. His leadership roles for Kansas ACEC have including Treasurer, Vice President, President and National Director.
