City dignitaries and nearly 200 gather in 100 degree temps
BHC RHODES Civil Engineering and Surveying company celebrated its 20 year milestone anniversary. Nearly 200 fans came out in the record temperatures to offer congratulations on 20 successful years at an event that was a reflection of its founders’ vision years ago, to deliver customers exceptional engineering services while positively impacting the community and lives of many.
Several city dignitaries were there to help celebrate including Overland Park Mayor, Carl Gerlach, Lenexa Mayor Mike Boehm and Prairie Village Mayor Ron Shaffer. “We are so proud to be part of this community and very thankful for the work we have been honored to do for so many great customers. We also want to thank those who stepped up to our 20,000 meal challenge and donated to Harvesters helping us pass our goal by raising 50,754 meals. WHB 810 Sports Radio broadcasted live encouraging the public to drop-off donations and our business partners C Biz, Ann Robertson, CPA, Commercial & Personal Insurance, Micha Feingold Commercial Real Estate, Cornerstone Bank, Holmes Murphy and Apple Markets were a few who supported our goal. We matched the 20,000 meals and were thrilled to see that number keep growing and growing, stated BHC RHODES’ President, Kevin Honomichl.
BHC RHODES’ “No Problem Customer Service” commitment came through in this anniversary endeavor. What started with a vision to celebrate 20 years in business by raising 20,000 meals for Harvesters surpassed even the wildest expectations. The event had just the right mix to get many out to celebrate…great local barbecue, live music, tents, a 2,300 "canstruction" logo, lots of laughter and cold drinks to keep the customers and business partners of BHC RHODES having fun in the 100+ degree temperatures.
