Visit Bentley Systems at ACHEMA to See Innovative ‘Information Mobility’ Software for Sustaining Infrastructure

Bentley Systems, Incorporated, the leading company dedicated to providing comprehensive software solutions for sustaining infrastructure, invites members of the media to stop by its booth (B 27) at the 30th ACHEMA, 18 to 22 June, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In presentations and demonstrations they’ll learn about Bentley’s latest enhancements to the innovative products in its extensive process manufacturing solution, including OpenPlant and AutoPLANT, Bentley Raceway and Cable Management, ProjectWise, ConstructSim, and eB Insight. Moreover, they’ll discover how Bentley is uniquely meeting the demanding needs of today’s owner-operators and engineering, procurement, and construction firms by providing a broad portfolio of innovative information modeling and engineering information management software, empowering the extraction of data from legacy data sources, offering construction engineers on-site model views via the iPad, and accurately cycling model information back into operational systems facilitated by information mobility.

Bentley also welcomes members of the media to the conference presentation being given on 21 June at 3:30 p.m. (in Hall CMF, Spektrum room) by Anne-Marie Walters, Bentley global marketing director, and Arvind Patel, Bentley engineering information management sales executive. They will discuss improved asset information management solutions that were developed within highly regulated industries, including the nuclear power industry, in response to decades of increased regulatory compliance demands. The operational and compliance efficiencies and improved safety records that these solutions provide are now being successfully deployed in traditional power generation markets, the oil and gas industry, and the chemicals industry. All of the products on display at Bentley’s ACHEMA booth empower Bentley users to leverage information modeling through integrated projects for the creation and operation of high-performing intelligent infrastructure. This results in the delivery of safer plants, enhanced engineering productivity, and faster time to nameplate production with lower costs.

The following capabilities of Bentley’s software are being showcased at ACHEMA this year:

·         Information modeling – as provided by Bentley’s OpenPlant, AutoPLANT, and Raceway and Cable Management offerings, which deliver information mobility across disciplines and the infrastructure lifecycle via i-models and ensure data integrity through the ProjectWise system of collaboration servers and services and eB Insight. eB Insight uniquely integrates configuration and change management best practices to deliver powerful asset lifecycle information management (ALIM) capabilities. Innovations being highlighted include:

o   Immersive interaction

§  Real-time data exchange within P&ID workflows – using ISO 15926 and iRING and featuring change management

§  Integrated raceways and cables – using Bentley Raceway and Cable Management, the only product to integrate raceway layout, automatic cable routing, and materials estimation into a single 3D model for design and construction through operations

§  2D/3D integration – in upcoming releases of OpenPlant that also provide enhanced interoperability with AutoPLANT

o   Performance simulation

§  The ability to capture the “as-is” condition of assets using advanced point-cloud processing and management capabilities in Bentley software

·         Integrated projects – as facilitated by the latest advancements for construction in ConstructSim, Integrated Structural Modeler, Bentley Transmittal Services, ProjectWise Explorer for the iPad, and Bentley Navigator for the iPad. Innovations include:

o   Scalable work sharing – including the enhanced ability to share plant models among structural and construction teams for analysis and planning

o   Versatile content reuse – with the help of ConstructSim V8i, which leverages design models to build a single virtual construction model

o   Actionable feedback from all constituents – using Bentley Navigator for the iPad, ProjectWise Explorer for the iPad, and Structural Synchronizer View

·         Intelligent infrastructure – as facilitated by advances in eB Insight for ALIM that further improve regulatory compliance, increase plant safety, and reduce operations costs
