Take the NOAA Survey on Proposed Resolution Restrictions for EO Commercial Imaging Satellites

Independence, Ohio, 13 February 2012 – On behalf of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Global Marketing Insights, Inc. (GMI)  is conducting a survey on proposed resolution restriction changes for commercial electro-optical (EO) imaging satellites.

Proposed modifications under consideration include changing the resolution restriction on commercial EO satellite imagery from 0.5 meters to 0.25 meters ground sample distance (GSD). NOAA seeks input from Academic, Government, and Commercial organizations that sell or use commercial satellite imagery on how the proposed changes will impact their sector.

The survey will take three minutes to complete. Responses are needed by February 17, 2012.
