Longview, Texas, Nov. 10, 2011 — KSA Engineers, Inc. announced recently the start of a holiday donation campaign, an initiative to engage the community in supporting the hundreds of volunteer fire departments across Texas.
During a season marked by giving, KSA wants to extend a helping hand to the volunteer fire departments that have been put to the test this year. Many of the departments around the state have been stretched thin by the rash of fires this summer and fall; therefore, KSA plans to donate $1,000 each to five departments.
But the engineering firm isn’t making that decision alone; they’re asking the public for help with nominations and votes. Between now and November 24 (Thanksgiving), KSA is encouraging residents across the state to visit their web site at www.ksaeng.com to cast their votes for the fire department they think is most deserving of a $1,000 donation.
