AVEVA Announces World Summit Agendas

The events will deliver key industry strategy overviews, market focused tracks and compelling customer case studies

Cambridge, UK – 19 September 2011: AVEVA (LSE:AVV), a leader in engineering design and information management solutions for the plant, power and marine industries, is pleased to announce the release of the agendas for the global AVEVA World Summits which take place in Copenhagen 17-19 October, Rio De Janeiro 25-27 October and Singapore 8-10 November.

The AVEVA World Summits provide a collaborative forum to present and discuss strategic business and technology issues facing the plant and marine industries and attracts managers and decision makers from across the globe.

The events will deliver key industry strategy overviews, market focused tracks built around compelling customer case studies, insights into priorities and direction and of course, engaging keynote speakers. Copenhagen’s keynote speaker is Chris Parry, a writer, broadcaster and speaker, who is one of the UK’s top strategic thinkers and forecasters. In Rio De Janeiro the keynote address is being given by Waldemar Niclevicz, the first Brazilian to climb Mount Everest and the first and only Brazilian to climb K2. Fredrik Härén is the keynote in Singapore. He is one of the most talked-about names in the field of creativity and his seven books have sold over 200,000 copies in over 40 different countries around the world.

Customer presentations play a major role in the Summits, providing practical insight into technology and business strategies for project execution, asset operations and shipbuilding. As with previous years, we are delighted by the level of involvement of our customers at the Summits and this year’s confirmed speakers include Statoil, Petrobras, AMEC and ASC. We also look forward to welcoming our sponsors including Microsoft, HP, Z&F, Trimble and Exactal.

“Our great locations, excellent keynote speakers and strong agendas demonstrate our passion for bringing together the engineering community”, said Richard Longdon, CEO, AVEVA. “AVEVA recognises the increasingly complex challenges faced by our customers and it is our mission to provide strategies, technology and services that join up this diverse flow of information to deliver success across their entire business. I look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces at this year’s events”.
