This strategic partnership will involve their coordinated efforts to raise the bar for continuing education for Professional Land Surveyors.
Over the years Jeff, John and Larry have gained national reputations for being among the very best at seminar presentations. This new partnership will make unprecedented expertise and passion available to anyone who attends one of their events.
PLSSeminars has already planned its first live destination event. Destination: New Orleans!
On August 29 and 30, 2011, the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana, will host a two-day gathering of professional land surveyors. At this event, Lucas, Stahl and Phipps will present two days of classes that promise to be both interesting and informative. On Monday attendees can choose between two different presentations. J B Stahl will present an empowering series of classes unlocking the surveyor’s role in land disputes. In a separate series, Larry Phipps will address the new 2011 ALTA/ACSM standards from top to bottom, and everything in between. Tuesday’s presentations will include a morning session on Ethics followed by a full mock trial, led by renown Jeff Lucas, where the attendees will participate as attorneys, experts, witnesses and jurors, in a “guaranteed to excite and entertain” event. In addition to these traditional seminars, there will be a reception Monday evening with an “Open Mic” for the attendees to pose questions to PLSSeminar’s panel of experts. That discussion / debate should prove to be a highlight of the destination.
