R.A. Smith National’s Nathan Vaughn Obtains Wisconsin Land Surveyor Registration

Brookfield, Wis. — Nathan Vaughn, survey transportation technician, of R.A. Smith National – a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm – Brookfield, Wis., has obtained his Wisconsin land surveyor registration.

Vaughn has eight years of experience in surveying on projects for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, local government and the private sector. His field surveying experience as both crew chief and crew member includes boundary, ALTA/ACSM Land Title, subdivision, topographic, engineering, and as-built surveys, as well as construction staking. Nathan’s office experience includes drafting and production of highway right of way plats, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, preliminary and final subdivision plats, certified survey maps, plats of survey, easement exhibits, property exhibits, plats of survey, and 3D laser scanning deliverables. Vaughn’s expertise also includes utility location and research, construction inspection and geographic information systems (GIS).

Vaughn has a bachelor’s degree in geography with a minor in environmental studies from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. He is a resident of Johnson Creek.
