Graz, Austria — March 7, 2011 — On 4 February 2011, Vexcel Imaging GmBH, a Microsoft® company, received an ISO 9001:2008 Certificate from the certification body SystemCERT. This certifies that Vexcel Imaging has implemented and maintains a Quality Management System which fulfills the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001:2008 and has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement of its processes.

Certification for 9001:2008 standards is granted only after a thorough audit of a company’s management system by an independent external body, such as SystemCERT. Industry-experienced auditors verify that processes conform to the requirements specified by the International Organization for Standards (ISO), based in Geneva, Switzerland. The standards are intended to enhance an organization’s effectiveness and efficiency in achieving its defined objectives, as well as improve customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements.
