Next-Generation Access to Network RTK Corrections for Precision Agriculture and Machine Control
Tulare, Calif.–Intuicom® Inc., a leader in wireless data solutions and pioneer of wireless connectivity for precision agriculture, announces the immediate release and first sale of the newest addition to its line of RTK Bridge solutions, the Intuicom RTK Bridge—M™.
“Customers who didn’t need to relay correction data via radio link still needed to get their RTK corrections from the RTN server to the field, whether that’s farm equipment or machine control for the construction industry. The Intuicom RTK Bridge—M meets that need in a reliable and user-friendly way”
Designed specifically for in-cab or on-machine use, it provides automatic connectivity to Real-Time Networks and replaces the need for expensive tower systems and base stations.
Like all Intuicom Bridge Products, The RTK Bridge—M is designed for easy setup and operation. It automatically connects to the internet and logs on to available Real-Time Network servers. The RTK Bridge then pulls the appropriate RTK corrections for a variety of precise positioning applications. Unlike competitive products, the RTK Bridge–M allows use of flexible data plans on Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, and other carriers – no long-term contracts are required.
The Intuicom RTK Bridge—M fills an unmet need in the market. “Customers who didn’t need to relay correction data via radio link still needed to get their RTK corrections from the RTN server to the field, whether that’s farm equipment or machine control for the construction industry. The Intuicom RTK Bridge—M meets that need in a reliable and user-friendly way,” said Tom Foley, President and CEO of Intuicom.
Other benefits of the Intuicom Bridge family include a field hardened design built to withstand the rigors of working in the most unforgiving environments.
“We’ve purposely designed the RTK Bridges, including the M version, to perform in the toughest of situations. We want our customers to be able to maximize their productivity in the field, and that means making a product that’s ruggedized, resistant to the elements, and immune to the punishment often associated with field work,” stated Peter Miller, Intuicom Director of Engineering. “The RTK Bridge—M also has the widest voltage range available for these types of devices – 12 to 36 VDC – to protect against spikes and help ensure uninterrupted performance,” Miller added.
Intuicom is offering a free webinar to introduce the product to the market. Two webinar dates are available: February 22nd and March 1st. Interested parties can register by calling Intuicom at 303-449-4330 extension 222 or by emailing marrick@intuicom.com.
The Intuicom RTK Bridge–M supports CDMA as well as HSPA/GPRS/GSM cellular networks such as Verizon Wireless, AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile, and more. The RTK Bridge–M provides best-in-class performance for all major Real Time Networks including Trimble VRS™, Leica GNSS Spider, Topcon TopNet, and Geo++®
