World’s Leading International LiDAR Forum – Program Launched
From a record number of abstracts submitted by international experts, the ILMF Technical Committee has organized a wide-ranging Conference program of 34 technical papers focusing on the commercial and technical issues facing the industry. There will be work-in progress reports on all aspects of Airborne LiDAR, Bathymetry LiDAR and Mobile Mapping.
The ILMF Conference agenda will be delivered by representatives of the major global LiDAR [Light Detection and Ranging] system manufacturers, service providers and government and national user organizations. Technical papers include examination of the latest developments in LiDAR technology and reports on recent projects from around the world. These reflect the increasing use of LiDAR for fast, high-resolution and cost-effective data gathering in map making for urban areas, rural asset management, highways, railroads and along flood plains and the coastal zone.
