LizardTech to Showcase its Express Suite Line of Products at Upcoming Regional Conferences

Company to Exhibit at GIS in the Rockies and NW GIS User Conference

Seattle, Wash. — September 13, 2010 — LizardTech®, a division of Celartem Inc. and a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, will be exhibiting at this week’s 23rd annual GIS in the Rockies Conference in Loveland, Colo., in booth number 12 and the 2010 NW GIS User Conference in Spokane, Wash., in booth number 4.

“We always look forward to the more intimate setting of regional conferences where our LizardTech staff and sales representatives have plenty of time to meet face-to-face with our potential and existing customers,” said Jon Skiffington, director of marketing. “Through these regional conferences we get ample opportunity to share with our customers our latest geospatial developments as well as carefully listen to their input on how we can improve our software.”

At this week’s GIS in the Rockies Conference attendees will have the opportunity to attend a session hosted by Genie Hays, LizardTech’s central territory sales manager, titled, “An Easy and Faster Way to Stream Orthophotos,” on Sept. 16 from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. in Presentation Room number 5 at the Ranch in Loveland.

Attendees of the same conference will find product information sheets in their attendee bag on LizardTech’s two products, GeoExpress® and Express Server® software, which demonstrate how fast and easy it is to manipulate, compress and distribute geospatial imagery.  Since delays in image access may not only be costly but can also be the difference between failure and success, attendees will get a chance to learn how GeoExpress and Express Server minimize the time between the moment they receive their source image data and the moment their users view it in their applications.

During both conferences LizardTech will be focusing on showcasing its LiDAR Compressor™ software, which turns giant point cloud data sets into efficient MrSID® files, along with the entire Express Suite® line of products. This suite includes GeoExpress software for compression and manipulation, Spatial Express™ software for storage, and Express Server software for high-performance delivery and publication.
