LizardTech to Exhibit at Conferences Across the U.S. and Canada

Seattle, Wash. — April 12, 2010 — LizardTech®, a division of Celartem Inc. and a provider of software solutions for managing and distributing geospatial content, announced they will be exhibiting at six regional GIS conferences across the United States and Canada between April 14 and April 28.

“These conferences are an excellent opportunity for our current and potential customers to meet face to face with LizardTech staff, including our sales team,” said Jon Skiffington, director of marketing. “They can quickly understand how the software can meet their needs and receive onsite demonstrations and training for all of our geospatial products in the LizardTech booth. These events also present a chance for LizardTech staff to gather valuable feedback. We’re always looking at how we can better meet and exceed our customers’ expectations whether it’s through new features or improvements to current functions.”

During these shows LizardTech will be focusing on promoting the newest release of LiDAR Compressor™ software, designed to turn giant point cloud data sets into efficient MrSID® files, along with the entire Express Suite™ line of products. This suite includes GeoExpress™ software for compression and manipulation, Spatial Express™ software for storage, and Express Server™ software for high-performance delivery and publication.

In addition, attendees to the MidAmerica GIS Consortium (MAGIC) will have the opportunity to attend a session hosted by Genie Hays, LizardTech’s central territory sales manager, on Wednesday, April 21 from 9:15 – 10:00 a.m. in the Penn Valley room at the Westin Crown Center. The presentation, “An Easy and Faster Way to Stream Orthophotos”, will explain how the State of New Jersey Office of Geographic Information Systems and North Carolina One Map were able to use Express Server to provide an easy way of streaming instant state and local compressed aerial imagery fast and at low cost.
