International Geodetic Students’ Meeting 2010 in Zagreb

The XXIII International Geodetic Students’ Meeting (IGSM) is going to be held from 2nd to 8th May 2010 in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. The IGSM Organization board, made up of 20 students from the Faculty of Geodesy, has been steadily preparing for the forthcoming event during the past year, backed up by both professors and assistants. The event will be attended by 150 students from 30 universities situated in 20 countries. We are going to provide a diverse program, ranging from presentations, workshops, and excursions, but also cultural and social events.

We invite you to present your work by making a presentation, or taking part in a poster session.

We are also offering our participants an optional trip to Zadar, a city of exceptional history and rich cultural heritage situated on the Dalmatian coast, where they will stay for three days after the IGSM. We are also planning to visit the National Park Kornati, the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea.

The participants can register on our web site: http://igsm2010.geof.hr, and for any questions or suggestions you can write us via e-mail: igsm2010@gmail.com.

We are really looking forward to this meeting!!
