SimActive to Introduce New Editing Module at INTERGEO

Montreal, Canada, September 15, 2009 – SimActive Inc., a world-leading developer of software solutions for the generation of geospatial data, is pleased to announce that its new editing module will be released at INTERGEO 2009 in Karlsruhe, Germany.  The module includes different functionalities for manually modifying digital elevation models (DEM).

“While our automatic DSM/DTM generation modules produce highly accurate results, some of our customers still desired to have the capability to alter results according to their specific requirements”, said Louis Simard, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of SimActive.  “Our editing module was designed using the latest technology to provide the user a very intuitive and efficient interface.”

Designed for speed and ease of use, Correlator3D™ consists of fully automated software tools for the production of digital surface models (DSM) and digital terrain models (DTM), the creation of orthophotos and mosaics, and the detection of 3D changes.  Correlator3D™ is significantly simpler and faster than currently available tools.  Highly trained personnel are no longer mandatory.
