Merrick Announces Two New Professional Engineers

Aurora, CO – July 9, 2009 – Merrick & Company announced two new professional engineers on its staff. The two individuals, Brian Philippi PE, civil design engineer, and Christina Wisleder PE, civil design engineer, both recently passed their professional engineer registration exams.

Philippi has been with Merrick for five years and is currently working on a water treatment plant and storage tank upgrade for the Town of Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado, an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funded project. He is also involved in a non-potable water interconnection for the Thompson School District, in Colorado. Philippi is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines where he acquired a BS in engineering.

Wisleder, a Merrick employee since 2006, is involved in an arterial roadway widening of west Chatfield Avenue, from south Everett Way to south Wadsworth Boulevard and a 12,000 linear foot storm sewer project for the City of Denver. She holds a BS in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University and an MS in civil engineering from that same institution. Wisleder is a member of the Society of Women Engineers.
