COLUMBUS Version 3.8.1.11 and Free Online OPUS Least Squares Utility Released

June 1, 2009—Beaverton, Oregon USA – Best-Fit Computing, Inc. announced two new product releases today: COLUMBUS Network Adjustment Software Version 3.8.1.11, featuring expanded file import capability, and a free Web-based OPUS Least Squares Utility.

With the release of COLUMBUS 3.8.1.11, users can now import GPS data from Leica SKI, Trimble JXL (XML), and RAW/RW5 GPS files directly into COLUMBUS. Other features include enhanced Data Management Grids, which allow the user to quickly add multiple new grid rows for fast import of large amounts of data from Microsoft® Excel or other external sources.

With the new OPUS Least Squares Utility, users can quickly compute the unique coordinate from multiple OPUS solutions. This free Microsoft® Silverlight® Web application is available at the Best-Fit Computing Web site (http://www.bestfit.com/webcalc.shtml).
