The new AdVance™ L1-RTK engine achieves initialization in seconds for reliable centimeter accurate surveying similar to dual-frequency RTK, but at less than half the cost. Superior RTK performance is made possible through the use of all available single-frequency satellite signals—GPS, GLONASS, and SBAS. The increased satellite coverage enables the receiver to work in areas where other GPS solutions cannot, such as in dense tree areas and urban settings, maximizing surveying productivity.
The release of the new RTK engine makes the GSR1700 CSX one of the most scalable survey systems, allowing you to customize functionality to match your needs and your budget. The GSR1700 CSX can still be purchased in its original high-performance static and stop-and-go surveying configurations and upgraded at any time to industry leading single-frequency RTK of baseline distances up to 3 km. Existing GSR1700 CSX users can easily upgrade their units to RTK operation by updating the receiver’s firmware and purchasing an authorization code.
The new GSR1700 CSX RTK engine will be first introduced at Middle East 2009 in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E from 26 to 28 April.
