(Norcross, Ga., 23 March 2009) The Newark College of Engineering announced the winner of the prestigious 2009 Outstanding Partnership Award this week; John White, Senior Direct Sales Manager of Leica Geosystems Inc. John will be presented with this honor at the 11th Annual Salute to Engineering Excellence reception on March 26th at the NJIT campus center atrium.
This prestigious award, reserved for NCE Partners who have exhibited dedication and vision, recognizes the outstanding loyalty of these organizations and individuals to the surveying profession.
“It is an honor to recognize not only the fine work that John has done for our program and students for the last several decades, but also the vital role that Leica Geosystems has played in supporting the advancement of the surveying profession as a whole”, said Dr.Greenfeld, coordinator of the Surveying Engineering Technology program at NIJT. “We are delighted to commend these outstanding contributions, and hope that these awards would inspire many others to promote and invest in the future of the surveying profession”.
John White has been with Leica Geosystems Inc. for over twenty years as a direct sales representative in the state of New Jersey. He has received numerous awards and recognition for his ongoing support and training with the local surveying department at NJIT. “I am extremely honored to have been a part of the NJIT-Surveying program since its formation in 1989. Receiving this award is something I appreciate and consider one of the highest achievements of my career. I am fortunate to have the unwavering support of Leica Geosystems and would like to extend my appreciation for its commitment to the surveying industry”.
