BHC RHODES Enhances Traffic Service with Additional PTOE

Nicole L. Jackson, P.E., receives Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) Certification

Ms. Jackson’s recent certification as PTOE has enhanced the professional service offerings at BHC RHODES. “Having an additional PTOE on our team ensures we are delivering the absolute highest quality of expertise in traffic operations to our customers. The addition of a PTOE certification relays to customers that Ms. Jackson has the required knowledge, skill and ability to serve as a traffic operations engineer. To qualify for the certification, applicants must hold a valid license to practice civil, mechanical, electrical or general professional engineering. One must also have at least four years of professional practice in traffic operations engineering. Ms. Jackson’s PTOE certification makes one of two within BHC RHODES, one of only twenty-three in the state of Kansas, and one of only sixty-five in Missouri.

Ms. Jackson’s current projects include: Cherokee South Plaza Redevelopment, Overland Park, KS; Odessa Roadway Widening, Odessa, MO; Winnetonka High School Traffic Study and Improvement Plans, Kansas City, MO; Blue Valley Retail Center Traffic Impact Study, Overland Park, KS. She received her Civil Engineering degree from the University of New Brunswick – Saint John. She is licensed in Kansas and Missouri.
