SECO is Bringing Back a Geodimeter Style Telescoping Prism Pole

The new Geodimeter®-style pole has many upgraded features

Redding, CA — SECO Manufacturing is bringing back an old favorite, by popular demand. Small in diameter (20 mm), this lightweight pole is designed to work with a Geodimeter, or similar style, sliding prism. The prism (sold separately) can be mounted on the site rod or the graduated outer section. The site rod can be used as a short handheld rod with two height marks, 0.50 ft (15.24 cm) and 1.00 ft (30.48 cm).

The outer section of the pole is graduated in feet/tenths/hundredths for direct reading of prism height.  This new updated pole also features the popular SECO QLV™ locking mechanism with adjustable 40-min circular vial. Bright fluorescent orange powder paint and a removable hardened-steel point round out the new features.

The telescoping inner section is graduated in feet and centimeters. It expands to 8.60 ft (2.62 m) and collapses to 4.80 ft (1.46 m).

The pole ships with two diameter adapters for use with bipods and data collector attachments. The #5120-02-FOR-GT model is shown. Other models with metric outer pole grads are also available. Bipod and prism sold separately.
