SECO Making New ANSI/ISEA Class 2 and 3 Safety Utility Vests to Satisfy Federal Mandates

These new vests not only meet mandated requirements but are also loaded with helpful features

Redding, CA — SECO Manufacturing recently developed two new ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 compliant vests (#8365 – Class 3 and #8265 – Class 2) in conjunction with surveyors from the California Department of Transportation.

The Federal Highway Administration will soon require that anyone working on a federally funded highway jobsite wear an ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 compliant vest. The new visibility mandate goes in to effect November of this year.

SECO’s new Class 2 and 3 safety vests keep you visible and are designed with utility and comfort in mind. Both vests feature quality materials like texturized polyester, YKK® zippers and Outlast™ phase change material.

Features include pockets for radios, phones, markers, field books, maps, flagging tape, spray cans, etc.  Some improved features on these vests include a stiffer backing behind the pen/pencil pocket; a new flexible lanyard strap for securing paint cans; and padded neck material. Two mic clips on each side of the vest, two grommets up top for hanging miscellaneous gear and a large map pocket on the back round out the superb features, making these two of the most convenient safety vests on the market.
