MultiVision USA to Exhibit Public Safety Uses of Oblique Imagery at APCO Conference in Baltimore

Orlando, Fla., 2 August 2007 – MultiVision USA, a provider of high-resolution oblique imagery and 3D viewing software, will demonstrate public safety applications of oblique aerial photography at APCO International’s 73rd Annual Conference & Exposition. MultiVision USA will be in booth #2644 at the show, which will be held August 5-9, 2007, at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland.

MultiVision USA representatives will be on hand to discuss the wide variety of public safety applications that MultiVision technology addresses. Specifically, MultiVision USA personnel will provide insights into the applications of oblique viewing technology by the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department and a number of other agencies in metropolitan Kansas City through a unique cooperative program.

“We’re excited to demonstrate how public safety professionals from across the country can use our technology to keep their citizens safe,” said Dave Ledgerwood, President of MultiVision USA. “Law enforcement and emergency management organizations are increasingly recognizing the value that MultiVision technology provides when it comes to planning and actively responding to incidents. We’re sure APCO attendees will see the potential, too.”

APCO – the Association of Public Communications Officers – brings thousands of public safety communications professionals together every August. More than 2500 public safety professionals are expected to attend this year’s conference. Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, August 6; 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7; and 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8.

MultiVision is the first integrated oblique imagery and 3D viewing solution designed for use by multiple departments within city and county governments. MultiVision USA’s advanced 3D functionality, imagery, and GIS layers empower users with a superior method for analysis and decision making.

A major factor in the success of MultiVision technology is that it enables users to view infrastructure in true 3D and run simulation analyses, like floods and storm surges, in their GIS environment without third-party vendors or expensive add-on modules. In less than a year, this solution has become a favorite oblique viewing tool in Property Appraisal, Public Safety and Public Works applications.

About MultiVision USA
The MultiVision imagery database and software provide several advantages over other oblique aerial products. MultiVision processing technology registers the oblique images to standard orthophotography to create a multi-dimensional viewing environment in the end user’s GIS coordinate system, resulting in highly accurate feature mapping and measurement. In addition, the MultiVision software provides easy-to-use 3D modeling functionality. With MultiVision USA, you are always in control of your imagery.
