Clary & Associates Honors America’s Military with Appreciation Lunch

Jacksonville, FL (April 10, 2007) Jacksonville-based survey and mapping company Clary & Associates, Inc. is honoring American service personnel during a Military Appreciation Luncheon and Chili Cook-Off that will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 11 at the company’s headquarters at 3830 Crown Point Road.

Company founder and president Greg Clary says this is the first year they have held an appreciation luncheon to honor the company’s own active, reserve and retired military members, along with those who work with its clients and sub-contractors.

"These are brave men and women who have served their country in the past and are now putting their lives on the line in Afghanistan, Iraq and throughout the world,” Clary said.  “This is one way we can take time out from our busy lives and show our appreciation for their sacrifices, regardless of our personal politics or opinions on foreign policy.”

In addition to recognizing personnel for their military service, company employees also engage in a chili cook-off as part of festivities.

Last year, the company also initiated a company-wide care package campaign to support 120 American servicemen stationed in Afghanistan.
