Leica Geosystems Announces Support for AutoCAD 2007

Leica CloudWorks for AutoCAD 2007 brings High-Definition Survey Point Cloud Data Directly into the Hands of Designers and Engineers who Need Accurate, Detailed Field Conditions

The new features in AutoCAD 2007 combined with the ability of Leica CloudWorx to present the reality of any surveyed site, plant or building via high density point clouds allows customers to integrate new designs with existing conditions in a simple and intuitive manner. Accuracy and productivity gains from this unique capability provide a freedom to create great designs like never before.

Leica CloudWorx provides easy-to-use tools for working with huge point clouds. Users can create planimetric or elevation drawings from clouds and best-fit shapes to point cloud segments to create AutoCAD geometry for pipes, walls, and more. Advanced navigation and expanded collaboration tools in AutoCAD 2007 provide critical new capabilities for dealing with large projects involving point cloud data.
