Fastest-growing firm commits to second year of support of local charity
Chantilly, VA — Bowman Consulting is pleased to announce their recommitment to Homestretch for 2006. As part of this commitment, Bowman Consulting will contribute $20,000 to be used towards Homestretch’s facilities and programs. Through the firm’s past contributions, Homestretch has been able to renovate classroom facilities and a children’s nursery to continue to provide support to their family support services program.
“Bowman Consulting’s commitment to Homestretch has been phenomenal,” stated Nancy Taxson, Executive Director of Homestretch. “Without the support of Bowman Consulting and their employees, we would not have been able to accomplish this much needed renovation.”
Homestretch, founded in 1990, is the largest provider of transitional housing and services for homeless families with children in Northern Virginia. In addition to providing subsidized housing, the comprehensive program offers job counseling, credit counseling, ESL classes, computer training, life skills training, domestic violence and substance abuse counseling, family mentoring and children’s programs.
