The seven offices of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, representing approximately 510 full-time employees, have reason to be proud of their efforts to help victims of Hurricane Katrina on the Gulf Coast. Langan personnel in New Haven, New York City, Elmwood Park, Trenton, Doylestown, Philadelphia & Miami raised over $38,000 in donations to the Katrina Relief Fund of the American Red Cross. But that’s not all! Langan matched the contributions of the employees dollar for dollar. $76,608 was sent to the American Red Cross on September 15, 2005.
Earlier this year, Langan did a similar match of funds for the victims of the tsunami disaster. Combined, Langan has contributed nearly $120,000 to the American Red Cross in 2005. Dave Gockel, P.E., PP, President of Langan said, “We are proud of our employees’ generosity and their commitment to the relief effort. We also appreciate the efforts of the men and women of the American Red Cross in providing help to the Hurricane Katrina victims”.
Good job Langan and to the myriad of other firms and individuals who stepped up to the plate. Your help has made a difference!
